Description
LOCATION and VIEWS. Creek Waters log cabin is beautifully perched on a hill and within walking distance to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock Village. This spacious 2 bedroom with large loft and 2 bathroom cabin will sleep 7 – perfect for a large family or traveling couples with kids.
This gorgeous cabin has two spacious bedrooms with plenty of privacy and a large loft with games for the kiddos. Creek Waters features a master bedroom with a custom-built king bed with a super comfy memory-foam style mattress. The on-suite bathroom has a jacuzzi tub, shower and double sinks. There’s a walk-in closet with plenty of space to unpack and organize your belongings. This large bedroom also has a TV and nice lighting. The other large bedroom has a custom queen bed with a memory foam style mattress, plenty of closet space, a smart TV, and view out onto the screen porch to watch the sunrise over the mountain. This bedroom has a bathroom next to it with a tub/shower combo.
The loft is an adorable space for youngsters. It is accessible by a ladder and the ceiling height is 5’8” so it’s not an adult-friendly space which makes it perfect for the kiddos to getaway from the adults and have their own fort in the cabin. There are two twin beds and a third twin sleeper lounger in the loft. It’s decorated like a fort with mini lights, curtains, games, and nooks for reading a book.
The centralized living area and eat-in kitchen are small but mighty. The living area features a stone gas-log fireplace with seating and even a vintage record player with tons of albums to choose from. It’s kind of fun to watch kids try to figure out how to play the records and get it on the correct speed. There’s a new smart TV on the mantle which can be seen from the loft and the kitchen. The kitchen area has custom cabinetry, pantry area, dishwasher, and is fully stocked for everything you need to cook in the cabin. The highlight of Creek Waters cabin is the enormous screened porch that stretches the length of the house and overlooks a beautiful sunrise. The mornings are usually warm on the porch with the sun beaming in so take in the sunrise and enjoy a cup of coffee. If you aren’t a morning person, there’s plenty of room for everyone to relax, play games, or dine outside on this screened porch.
Other conveniences are the stackable washer and dryer so you can launder when on a lengthier stay. There’s an entry closet for coats and other vacation necessities where we also provide laundry detergent, cleaners, vacuum, and iron and ironing board.
Four Seasons properties consists of 3 log cabins and 1 cottage. The 3 cabins share a parking lot and all the properties share an amazing outdoor space with a centralized gazebo full of seating, games, lighting, and grills - gas and charcoal. There’s a path leading to a large firepit area with seating, so bring on the s’mores and create some memories here in Lake Lure and Chimney Rock!

We chose the area to spend our 1st Anniversary and were NOT disappointed! The cabin exceeded our expectations and we considered it "home" for the week we were there. After a long day of being tourists, we appreciated the spa tub! All furnishings were comfortable and it was nice to sit and "veg" in front of the televisions. The enclosed porch was great for late night sessions of listening to the sounds of the area as well as for eating breakfast. Parking was private and easy to negotiate and the cabin was off the beaten path but close enough to the main road so access wasn't a problem. The surrounding area & town are FANTASTIC and I must say Pat was more than helpful as I planned some activities for my wife and I (if you have the chance, you HAVE to contact Lynn at Better Transitions for an AWESOME horseback riding experience. Chimney Rock was a climb for us as the elevator was out but being outdoor people it was well worth it! I'd also suggest the Great Smokey Mountains Railroad for a time to remember! Larkin's on the Lake offered us a fabulous setting for our anniversary dinner and one of the BEST steaks I've ever had with reasonable prices! La Strada's provided us with a really great meal which was more than we could eat comfortably-and offered wonderful left overs-also for a very reasonable price. THANKS, PAT, FOR THE INSIGHT!!) I think I confused cabins in that I thought Blue Skies had both a washer/dryer and internet; but we'd packed enough clothes to make due and not having an additional distraction to the "world" only made our time there better! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS-OR ANY OTHER FOUR SEASONS-CABINS! Thank you for providing us with some great memories. We'll be back. :)
We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful cabin, perfect for a mountain "get-away". Cell phone reception was not good, but internet coverage was good. Only thing that could have made it better was to catch some fish from the river, but we found a stocked trout pond a beautiful hour drive away....and caught fish. Fun time!!
Owner Response
Tiki, than you so much for the great review. I know cell phone coverage is not good here but that is the case for us all. It was a pleasure to have you as my guest and I so hope you will come back for a future stay and tell all your family and friends. Sincerely, Pat Cook
Our stay at River Landing was absolutely the best vacation we have had.. The cabin was very clean and had everything we could want. It was furnished beautifully.... We felt at home from the moment we opened the front door. Whether it was nights around the fire pit by the river or the cozy fireplace in the cabin, we felt stress free and relaxed. We enjoyed fishing in the river behind the cabin. My husband caught bass and brim. Pat & her husband were so nice and helped us with and questions we had during our stay. It was an easy drive to all the wonderful things that Lake Lure has to offer. We loved our stay and are already planning our next adventure to lake lure, Thanks so much to Pat for everything....
Owner Response
Joe & deb you were awesome guest. I so appreciate your review of River Landing and your business,. So hope you will tell all your family and guest about my cabins and come back for a future stay. Thank you so much for your help with the Hughsnet. Sincerely, Pat Cook
We stayed in the Autumn Splendor cabin in September, and we absolutely loved it!! We couldn't believe when we walked in how beautiful it was! Everything was so neatly designed and well thought out. The cabin was clean, stocked with all the necessities we would need for our weekend, and there were even books and toys for our small children. We felt so comfortable, as if it were our own home! We really enjoyed eating our dinner on the porch and looking out at the mountains in the evening! The cabin was also located perfectly near MANY different trails (we went up to Asheville to do some hiking), and it was minutes away from Chimney Rock as well. Thank you so much, Pat, for providing such a relaxing weekend for our family. We will be back, for sure, again and again!!
Owner Response

It was incredible and so homy. I love it and I would come and stay again. Actually We would love to bring our whole family up there and stay for a lil family vacation. We showed everyone the pictures and they loved it. The best Cabin was the one we stayed in Creek Waters and I absolutely loved the hot tub and so did my husband and he is 6ft 2 and he got it in. We wanted to bring it back to Ky with us. I plan on coming back and the people and the atmosphere was amazing. everything was local, we ate at Old Rock Cafe is great, Larkins on the lake it was good, Papa T's was great, Veranda not so great buffet, and if not only like 20 mins away we dine local and The Best Place to Eat is ***Binion's* in Hendersonville, NC only 20 miles away. If you love Texas Roadhouse then You will love Binions They kill Texas Roadhouse. The Overall place to stay is here is at Four Seasons Cottages. I can't wait to come back.. I will sum it all up. IF SHE WOULD SELL IT TO ME i WOULD BYE IT. *** ITS MY HOME*** I Loved It!!! :) SMILING #beautifulmemories #stillsmiling #myvacation

The reviews here helped me decide on staying at Four Seasons Cottages. It was an awesome stay! Blue Skies Cabin was just what I needed. The cabin was clean, well kept with an authentic rustic appeal in a very modern setting. The cabin was equipped with every amenity that you will need. Close proximity to the lake and other attractions such as Chimney Rock, Asheville, etc... Seclusion was what I wanted and very well what I got. I'm making Four Seasons Cottages my new home away from home. It's just a short 1.5 hours drive from Charlotte. Pat gave great instructions on everything and they were easy to follow. I would highly recommend Four Seasons Cottages for your next vaycay, staycay or getaway. If I had a complaint, it would be that these cabins are in high demand so booking in advance is an absolute must!

My first trip to Lake Lure and Rivers Landing. What a lovely well kept home. I enjoyed my stay and had fun zip lining. Very quiet and relaxing area. I did not know how beautiful this area was until getting there. I will be back again. Log Cabin could sleep 9-10 persons. My husband and I did have a small concern our first night. We ate dinner and placed dishes in sink to do later on that night. I came into kitchen and there were ants everywhere in the sink on the counters and dishwasher, I got the spray and that took care of them. Spent time walking the town and went swimming several times. Took a sunset cruise with Dinner on the water and then off to see the sunset. What a nice night. If you are a T.V. watcher this house has dish and everything coming on were old. I had much needed rest most of the week, You will love this house.

We met our son and grandchildren (ages 15 and 8) at your cabin and absolutely felt very much at home-beds were very comfy and plenty of towels and such in the bathrooms. Kitchen very well stocked even with spices and the apple orchard farms in the area made the weekend perfect with homemade take-home apple pies and apple butters and also wonderful home grown tomatoes and veges. Lake Lure had gorgeous homes on it and we rented a pontoon boat for a few hours to explore after walking down to the lake via the flower garden path. Little town wonderful with good little restaurants and ice cream shop wonderful. Ate way too much...we will definately come again. thank you for opening up your cabin to us.

My husband and I stayed here during the Dirty Dancing festival weekend. We loved the cabin, especially the front porch. The location is convenient to Chimney Rock Park and the Lake Lure beach. We had an enjoyable stay thanks to Pat. She was very helpful and gracious. We'll definitely book with Pat again when we return to Lake Lure.

Great cottage very clean and comfortable. Equipted with everything we needed. We enjoyed our evenings on the screened porch and afternoon drinks on the deck. Great location so convient to all the recreational features of Lake Lure. Our dogs loved it they swam everyday in the Lake. We are cyclist and enjoyed the area for cycling as well. We will return!

My daughter and I wanted to come to Lake Lure to get away for a few days with our little dacshunds. Sundance cottage (Four Seasons) was everything we needed. Convenient location, immaculately clean, quaint and had everything we needed to be comfortable while we were there. Pat was available if we needed anything, which we didnt need a thing! Our little doggies loved the lake and we were able to take them everywhere we went. I will definately be coming back! Thank you so much Pat!! Jamie Boles and Courtney Boles

The process to reserve and pay for this cabin online was so incredibly easy, I thought the cabin was too good to be true. I was wrong! It was a beautiful cabin that comfortably fit 2 couples, 2 children and an infant. Every amenity we could possibly need was made available to us, from utensils to reading materials and DVDs! All of the comforts of home. We LOVED the screened in back porch, it was amazing to sit out there and listen to the rain pour down all around us. The walk to the beach was beautiful and my husband enjoyed his morning run both days we were there. (He said if he had a view like that at home he would run everyday!) The flowering bridge was right across the street and so pretty. The cabin is also minutes from Chimney Rock! We would love to stay here again if we visit Lake Lure/Chimney Rock in the future. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

Mu family and I stayed in the Evergreen cabin. It was so cozy and clean! We did not bring our dog and we couldn't tell any pets had even been in the cabin. We could walk out the door and look straight up at Chimney Rock! We will definitely be back.

We would definitely recommend this cottage. It provided four of us (two couples) a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at Lake Lure. The owner met us promptly when we arrived and was very helpful in orienting us to the cabin and surrounding area. Everything was clean and the cabin itself was light and very pleasant. I especially enjoyed the raftered ceilings and the eclectic knick knacks along the ceiling level shelves. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, etc. and we had all our meals at the cabin. We relaxed on the screened-in back porch. For not being on the water, the cabins are conveniently located toward the west end of Lake Lure. They are also pretty quiet for being just off the paved road. The Flowering Bridge was just a short walk (really a treat) and you could walk to the public beach (although if you’re carting anything, you will want to drive). Also, this end of the Lake is very convenient to Chimney Rock. We definitely would return to this cottage for another Lake Lure vacation.

Thank You so much for the great review. It was a pleasure having you as my guest. I so hope you will plan a return visit with me for a future date. Sincerely, Pat Cook
Cabin was ok. Very small to be advertised to sleep 6. Oh also I was charged an extra $80 for children under 18 when the cabin listed it slept 6 it only quotes your price for 2. So be mindful of that little money gauging trick. Cell service is non exsistant and the windows high in the room ceilings are insane at 6:00 am, if you want to sleep in at all bring blindfolds. AC didnt cool house until well after midnight and the refrigerator didnt cool until next day. I couldn't call about any of these issues due to lack of service. For price I ended up paying I should have gone to a larger cabin that we could actually walk in and be comfortable in. Will not stay here again or recommend at all. Last thought the "Beach" isn't a quick little walk. Its a hike especially with kids. I feel the cabin does not live up to its expectations listed online at all.
After staying at your cabins for many years, I find them always the same---very clean, comfortable and restful. Pat,your added touches make them even more special! They are the only cabins in the whole area where I feel comfortable to stay , as many times I travel alone for a quiet get-a-way. Hope to see you soon.
Owner Response
Linda, thank you so much for the great review. It is always a pleasure to have you as my guest. The next visit is on me. You have had the unique experience of staying in every one of my cabins and while Autumn Splendor is usually your favorite I was glad I had an opening for you this trip.
My friends and I had a great weekend in this cottage! Despite the the rain, we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and loved sitting out on the back screened in porch under the ice sickle lights. The up latter loft made us feel like kids again. Mrs Pat is great to work with and is very prompt to return calls and emails.

You can only imagine how pleased we were when River Landing turned out to be exactly as advertised. The pictures on your site can't show how comfortable and cozy you feel the minute you walk in. My husband and I stayed at the cabin for five days with our son and two grandsons and it was a perfect fit. The kids liked that even though the sleeping loft was upstairs it was open to the family room and they didn't feel isolated. Everything we needed was there for us as we did a lot of eating in. The cabin was well appointed and very comfortable. We took advantage of fishing on the river and Lake Lure, zip lining, gem mining (right down the road-the grandsons found all kinds of beautiful "treasures") and the hands-on museum in Rutherfordton on a rainy afternoon. Pat and her husband, the owners, were very nice to deal with and very accommodating. We would recommend this property without hesitation.
Owner Response
Thank you so much for your great review for River Landing. It was a pleasure to have your family as my guest. It make Jim and I feel so good that you were happy with the cabins and most of all you had a wonderful time in our beautiful mountains. Sincerely Pat & Jim Cook
My husband and I were both pleasantly thrilled upon our arrival at Blue Skies. My husband couldn't believe how roomy and stylish our cabin was. The cabin provided all of the necessary amenities, and everything we needed was right at our fingertips (coffee, coffee maker, plenty of towels, cooking ware, etc.) All of the rooms are beautifully decorated so the cabin truly seems like a home away from home. We were right next to Lake Lure and within a mile of Chimney Rock Village and Chimney Rock Mountain. We could not have picked a better cabin for our mini vacation. Pat, the owner was very hospitable as well. We are already planning a return trip during Thanksgiving!
Owner Response
Krsital, thank you so much for taking the time to write me a review. It sure makes my day to hear from my guest to know they are so pleased with what I have to offer them. I so appreciate my guest.. Thank You, Pat Cook
From the moment we entered the town of Lake Lure, we fell in love with the sights and enjoyed our interactions with local townspeople. My family and I (total of four) stayed at the Blue Skies cabin, which was a perfect fit. The screened in porch are was HUGE and provided a few rockers, a bench swing and four chair and table set provided plenty of outdoor lounging. Inside we had access to a jacuzzi which was used quite often and a kitchen fully stocked with utensils, dishes and basic supplies came in handy. The faux fireplace was a nice touch as well. The water pressure was great and having central air and heating was a "nice to have." We we also within a block of the Flowering Bridge which was beautifully decorated and provided a nice scenic path to Lake Lure access by foot. For a little adventure, we made our way around the east side of the lake by car to Canopy Ridge Farm for some zip lining and really enjoyed more of the local NC hospitality. This place was great for groups of all ages. Being within a mile of the Chimney Rock's state park entrance and town was great and the shops and restaurants we visited were well kept. We really enjoyed the food, local NC craft beer and overall service provided at the Riverwatch Deli and Grill for dinner one day and had a delicious breakfast at Laura's House located across the street from the entrance to the state park. I highly recommend staying at any of the Four Seasons properties and can pretty much guarantee you'll enjoy your stay. Our interaction with Pat Barron was quite pleasant and made check-in a breeze. We'll be back in the next couple years to enjoy more of Lake Lure...

Stayed here for Valentines weekend and to enjoy the area. Cabin and owner were great! Had the fireplace going all weekend and just relaxed. So close to everything. Went hiking at Chimney Rock on Saturday and then just relaxed and made a nice dinner in the well stocked (appliances) kitchen. Well decorated and cozy. Will definitely be back
Owner Response
Paul, thank you for the great review you have given me. I will look forward to have you back as my guest in the future. Sincerely, Pat Cook
The cabin was very clean and provided very good heat on a cold weekend! There was plenty of information readily available in the cabin to give us an idea of what we would like to for fun every day. The only suggestion I would have would be to add home phone service because cell signal is tough. Other than that we had a very good time and the local restaurants had great food!
Owner Response
Thank yo so much for your review. Sorry about the cell phone receptions. That is a problem with all carriers in this area. I deal with this myself everyday along with everyone in Lake Lure. We need more cell phone towers. Thank you for being my guest and hope you will come back to stay with me again in the future. Pat Cook
We had a wonderful time! Couldn't of ask for better weather. The cabin was very nice and cozy. Granddaughter ended each day with a jacuzzi bath. We had taken a trip to Hawksnest in Seven Devils, NC to snow tube to return to the cabin for a cozy dinner. We also spent the day climbing the 500 + stairs up Chimney Rock, and hiked to see the water fall. Thank you Pat for such memories with our granddaughter.

I booked this cabin to stay in for my wedding weekend, which took place in Forest City (just down the mountain!). The cabin was extremely nice, very cozy, and felt like a home away from home. Pat was really understanding when the hectic wedding schedule made us stay another night, and I couldn't thank her more. The wedding was a hit and the cabin was a nice retreat! We're planning on booking another stay this summer!
Owner Response

More than what I expected. Thank you so much for the warm welcome and attention to details. The cabin offered us a time to celebrate and enjoy Christmas with family and friends. We are already talking about coming back in the spring.

Myself and a friend stole a few days away from "life" to relax, antique shop, and catch our breaths before the holidays. This was a very pleasant place to do that very thing. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed Hendersonville and Tryon and Landrum, none of which were far.
Owner Response
Thank you so much for your response. I wish you and family a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you will come back to stay with me in the future. I greatly appreciate your business Thank You, Pat Cook
A group of us were in Lake Lure for a work function and chose to stay in a cabin. It was perfect! The cabin was conveniently located to town and Rumbling Bald, where we spent most of our time. We loved the screened in porch and were so glad to have all the amenities of home. The master bedroom was huge and all the beds were comfortable! The upstairs got quite warm at night but we adjusted the heat and it was better. Pat was a pleasure to work with and such a great host!
Owner Response

My family absolutely loved this cabin. When we walked in we were all smiles. First off Pat was great with getting us back on the right road after getting lost. Please follow Pat directions don't use the GPS signal it can get you lost in the mountains. The cabin had all the amenities you need without spending a ton of money on the extra stuff. The area is very private and peaceful. My kids loved it so much they didn't want to leave to head to New York City. Hands down this was an awesome cabin and an amazing experience for me and my family we plan to come back in the summer time.

My husband, daughter and I were spending Thanksgiving with family in Rutherfordton (about 45 mins away) and wanted more than your average motel room. We arrived to find the cabin warm and brightly lit, welcoming us home. The cabin was appropriately stocked and met our needs well for the next 3 nights. The gas fireplace in the living room was warm and toasty! We visited Chimney Rock, Forest City and downtown Asheville and the Flowering Bridge was just a short distance away. My husband is looking forward to planning a future trip down on his Harley so he can enjoy those crazy windy roads around Lake Lure! We highly recommend Four Seasons Cottages!

Dale, thank you so much for your review and your business. I look forward to have you stay with me again in the future. I WISH YOU A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND PROSPEROUS NEW NEW! Thank You, Pat Cook
We stayed at Creek Waters in September and at Blue Skies on the above dates. Both cabins met our expectations, though we liked the size and layout of Creek Waters better. It had a King bed and a washer dryer that we missed in Blue Skies. Had no issues with the WiFi either trip, and everything in both cabins was clean and well cared for. Pat does a nice job making you feel welcome. You won't be disappointed renting her cabins for your Lake Lure and Chimney Rock visit!
Owner Response
Thank You so much for the review. I wish you and your family a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Pat Cook
The cabin was nice and clean. It would have been better if both beds were queen size and the wifi had a better signal. Overall it was a good place.
Owner Response
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, I appreciate your feedback. As a result we have switched internet carriers and now have faster FREE high speed WI-Fi to offer our guests in all my cabins.
My husband and I wanted a getaway vacation in Lake Lure, NC and the online description and pictures of the Blue Skies cottage we stayed in was accurate. It had 2 nice bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, so it could also hold a family with children comfortably. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and fully stocked with kitchen cooking and baking pans, pots, and appliances (coffee pot, Yay!), dinnerware and cleaning supplies. All we had to do was go to a local grocery store to buy the food and beverages we needed to make meals to avoid too much eating out. There wasn't really any designated pantry space for our dry/canned goods in the cupboards that I found, so we kept most of it on top of the refrigerator. I suppose we could have re-arraigned some of the plates and such to make room. When we arrived, the owner, Ms. Pat came to the cabin and checked us in and gave us information on where to get groceries and the best places to eat in the area, and explained things about the cabin. She was very nice and told us to call if we needed anything. We never needed to call her except on the day we left and checked out of the cabin. Making the reservation online was fairly simple, but because some of the price and reservation type descriptions were confusing, I called Ms. Pat to clarify and she explained that the information needed to be updated and she was going to be changing web service providers soon. Once I got all the details I needed, I then made the reservations. Ms. Pat then emailed me the information we would need to know about our stay, directions, and how to check in upon arrival. This information was very helpful. Our stay was during the week so the amount of other visitors in the area of Lake Lure was very low. This made our time at the cabin very quiet and peaceful. Lake Lure is within a few minutes walk of the cabin and people there are very friendly. We also visited nearby Chimney Rock Park and the shops around the entrance to the park and took a drive to Hendersonville and ate some very good BBQ for lunch. The cabin also had wireless internet access so we could check out places to visit in the area and plan our trips and routes. The wireless signal could use a booster though because it was only about 1/2 strength inside the cabin. It was a wonderfully relaxing retreat and my husband and I would most definitely stay at Four Seasons Cottages again because it felt like a home away from home. I will be recommending it to family and friends.
My daughter and I stayed at blue skies cabin oct 9 for 3 nights. Pat is the sweetest host, the cabin is wonderful and I loved the smell of the wood interior when you open the door. It's very close to everything. We walked to lake lure beach, and Chimney Rock village also visited Biltmore and a must see is the Grove Park Inn, absolutely amazing. I would recommend Pats cabins to everyone.
I had a wonderful time at the “Blue Skies” cabin. The online photos accurately represented the cabin, and it was beautiful, very clean, well appointed, cozy and peaceful. Exactly what I was looking for :) The owner was very nice and helpful In answering all of my questions. I will definitely return for another visit and will recommend it to others. Thanks so much!
Owner Response
It was a pleasure having you as my guest. I hope you will return in the future.
Our family had a wonderful time being together in the Creek Waters Cabin of the Four Seasons Cottages. Our large family had plenty of room, with the children especially enjoying sleeping in the loft. Drinking our coffee and hot tea on the large screened porch while spending quality time together was my personal favorite. The cabin is quite close to the activities and restaurants in Lake Lure. We ordered delicious pizza from La Strada at Lake Lure and also had an appetizing meal at Medina's Village Bistro, both we highly recommend. The owner is very kind and hospitable, easy to talk with, and we hope to visit Four Seasons again.

We just got back from our romantic getaway at Blue Skies, Four Season Cabins. The Cabin was easily accessible and perfectly located for hiking the near by state parks which we really enjoyed. It was so nice to come back to the beautiful indoor jacuzzi to soak or sore muscles. We would definitely come back again. Thanks Pat!
