Hi, we are Sunnee & Curt – your hostesses with the mostesses (@2hostadvenures). We have recently purchased the Four Seasons properties and we are the third owners since 2001. Four Seasons Cottages & Cabins are “mom & pop” vacation rental cabins. We fully operate and maintain our properties and do not use an agency. We have been in the vacation rental and Innkeeper business for over 12 years spanning from the coast of South Carolina to the mountains of North Carolina. We strive to create an extremely clean and comfortable vacation experience for our guests by providing a sparkling clean house, super comfortable mattresses and bedding, and fresh, easy décor so you can settle right in without any fuss. We really, really love our jobs and our profession of hosting guests to our properties.
Tammy is our expert and makes sure that each cabin is stocked and cleaned with fresh linens, towels, coffee, creamer, soaps, paper towels, and essentials. She goes the extra mile to make sure your vacation experience is easy and stress free.
Each of the properties are unique, yet they all have a consistent level of amenities and features. These professionally decorated cabins are fully stocked with all the conveniences you want for the ultimate vacation experience. The Four Seasons team is very passionate about what we do, and everyone takes pride in every one of the properties that we offer to our guests.
Come and stay with us, and you’ll have the time of your life!
Why Four Seasons?:
~ Named after one of the famous hiking trails at Chimney Rock ~
SPRING is full of blooms and the perfect spring weather! From the flowering fruit trees and dogwoods, to the gorgeous mountain laurels and rhododendrons with blossoms peaking out from the sides of the mountains, it’s truly beautiful here in Lake Lure and the Hickory Nut Gorge area from March to May.
SUMMER starts to heat up and isn’t shy on more blooms with the daisies, day lilies, and Carolina blue hydrangeas blooming. Also, there’s the warm waters of the lake just calling you to motor or paddle around and catch a sunset over the gorge.
FALL is where it’s at! The colors of the trees and the warm autumn sun start to transition the landscape into a dimensional spectrum of color. The lake waters are still warm and quiet so it’s a perfect time of the year to enjoy the lake. The cool nights are ideal for cozying up by a fire and breathing in the crisp mountain air.
WINTER is quiet but the scenery is still gorgeous. You can see for miles through the bare trees and get in some good hiking without overheating. The gorge gets an occasional snowfall which blankets the trees and ground – makes the holidays even more exciting. At the end of the day, soak in the soothing jacuzzi or just relax by a cozy fire – it’s really peaceful!
